General information only

The guides on this site provide general information about organising community service and volunteering. They are not professional, medical, legal, financial or safety advice, and they cannot cover every local situation, custom or law. You are responsible for how you use the information and for checking local requirements.

Health and blood donation

Nothing on this site is medical advice. For blood-donation camps, always follow the licensed blood bank's eligibility rules, screening decisions and instructions. Only qualified blood bank staff can decide whether a person may donate. For any health concern, consult a qualified health professional.

Emergencies and disasters

In an emergency, contact local emergency services. During floods, landslides or other disasters, always follow official alerts and instructions from the district administration and disaster management authorities. Volunteer activities should support, not replace, official response.

Safety

Volunteer activities carry risks. Organisers should assess risks, supervise young volunteers appropriately, and stop any activity that becomes unsafe.

Using the content

You are welcome to print, copy and share the checklists for non-commercial community use. Please do not present the content as the work or official guidance of any organisation.

Independence

Community Service Handbook is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Central Young Mizo Association (YMA) or any organisation that previously used this domain.

No warranty

We try to keep the information accurate and up to date, but it is provided as is, without any guarantee. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or harm arising from use of this site.
